Our quality guarantee

You’ll be glad to know that we pride ourselves on the quality of our trees and we only:

Sell Christmas trees that are freshly cut. Unlike many lower-grade tree retailers, our trees haven’t been cut in October and cold-stored, un-watered for months. They arrive fresh from the Christmas tree farm and are quickly unpacked from their pallets and stored in the cool, damp outdoors and are kept watered as necessary. Our stock is replenished weekly.

Sell prime-grade trees, so your tree is already superior to most trees on the market (apart from a limited number of ‘Value’ B-grade trees, clearly labelled as such, available from selected stores).

To ensure your Christmas tree lasts in all its glory throughout the festive season, it will need some TLC from you too, so make sure to follow our guide to tree care. As any cut Christmas tree bought online from The Christmas Forest is freshly cut it will last from 2-4 weeks depending on how well you look after it.

TO CARE FOR YOUR TREE, PLACE IT AWAY FROM HEAT/RADIATORS AND WATER IT DAILY. TREAT IT AS YOU WOULD A BOUQUET OF FLOWERS.

How do we choose your trees?

If you’re coming to one of our stores to buy your real Christmas tree, there will be a forest of trees to make your selection from – usually over 100, often 200 or more – un-netted trees displayed on racks that you can wander through to choose your own favourite. We employ and train our staff with our customers in mind, so that they can help match you with your perfect Christmas tree.

For all online orders, we will pick a premium grade Christmas trees from a bunch of un-netted ones, and choose the prettiest one in terms of evenness of shape and foliage, before sending it to you by courier. Our trees are replenished weekly, so we will never be choosing from ‘leftover’ trees.

No-nonsense returns

If you’ve bought a Christmas tree from one of our stores and you’re not happy with it once you get it home, please bring it back to us with your receipt within 48 hours and we will gladly exchange it for another tree*. We would be grateful if you could store it outside while waiting to bring it back. We can only accept returned trees with their receipts.

If ordered online or over the phone, your Christmas tree will arrive via one of our local delivery partners (read about our delivery service). Please check that you are satisfied that the Christmas tree looks healthy and that the leader (the stem at the top) is intact. If there is a problem with this, contact us immediately on 020 3953 8794 (or ask your driver to), and we will arrange for a new tree to be sent to you free of charge*.

If the driver has already gone when you realise there’s something wrong, we will need to see the old tree in order to deliver a new one, so please don’t throw it out – just give us a call on 020 3953 8794 option 2 or email us at team@christmasforest.co.uk with a photo of your tree. Please make sure you return your rejected Christmas tree to the driver when they replace it with a new one.

If you simply don’t like the Christmas tree we have sent you, we will replace* it, but we will charge you again for delivery. We’ll need to take away the other tree too.

If your tree dies beyond the 2-4 week period, we will consider replacing* it on a case by case basis!

IF YOU ARE SENDING A COMPLAINT ABOUT A TREE, PLEASE SEND PHOTOS AND A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM(S) TO TEAM@CHRISTMASFOREST.CO.UK
